Kosher Kitchens

Kosher Kitchens are designed for clients that adhere to the old testament laws of not mixing meat and milk together. A kosher kitchen differs from a regular kitchen in design only. To accommodate the ability to prepare meat meals and dairy meals separately, but possibly at the same time a kosher kitchen will have 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 stoves, or double ovens, 2 microwaves and the cabinets to store two separate sets of pots, dishes, glassware, etc. Many of the kitchens including my own (Lacquered MDF With Antique Glaze), which is the MDF lacquered/glazed kitchen. It is a 13' x 13' kitchen since we live in a small condo, but everything has it place and has been designed for efficient use. It includes corbels, columns and glass corners to give it soft design elements.

It is a challenge to design a kosher kitchen. A full knowledge of the Jewish dietary laws is a big help in the area. As kosher kitchen design consultants we have designed and built many kosher kitchens in Canada and the United States and consider ourselves experts in the area.
